Mark Roth Angling - Custom Fly Framing, Framed Flies, Fly Plates and Shadowbox Kits

SHADOWBOX KITS

These kits are constructed the same as the Fly Plates, except you finish the kit with your own flies. I make these from scratch, one at a time. Easy-to-follow written instructions included. All kits come partially pre-assembled with all necessary parts and hardware. Cherry frames are custom milled and finished by me in my shop. Frames are fully assembled.

Insert artwork, a print, or a photo along with catch information and the fly used on the smaller kits. Mount numerous flies in the large sizes. If you have a digital photo file or negative, I can also produce a quality photo with my professional printing equipment, including a top-notch print of your photo, comparable or better than most photo labs. (Google "Mark Roth posters" fyi).

Frames are approx. 1-3/8" deep, 3/4" wide, allowing trout, salmon and steelhead flies to fit easily under the glass without being squashed. The mats have built-in spacers, creating the depth of space. Custom designed kits are also available with mats and size cut to your specs; price will depend on number of mat openings and frame size. #KIT1 $49 - 11x9" (One-fly)

Ideal for mounting classic salmon flies or other large flies. Includes separate cutout with parchment paper to sign and include name of fly below. This layout is designed for collectors who prefer each fly in a separate frame with the corresponding flytier's signature. 4 smaller flies will also fit if desired. (fly not included)

Insert numerous flies with a label or signature card. (flies not included)

This kit is designed for 12 dry or wet flies in sizes as large as #8. The holes are pre-punched, for easy mounting, no guesswork. Mat lines as shown are also included. Flies, labeling, not included, however, for $18 more, I can hand-scribe labels under each mounting hole. Just let me know what size flies, names of each fly exactly as you want it spelled, and order of flies you will be mounting from top left to right.

#KIT6 $89 - 17x17"

This kit is designed for 25 dry or wet flies in sizes as large as #8. The holes are pre-punched, for easy mounting and assembly, no guesswork. Mat lines as shown are also included. Flies, labeling, not included, however, for $37.50 more, I can hand-scribe labels under each mounting hole. Just let me know what size flies, names of each fly exactly as you want it spelled, and order of flies you will be mounting from top left to right.
